What to bring with you

For during the day on board: water, snacks (on board they don’t sell nothing, had, sunblock, sunglasses, poncho, umbrella, raincoat passport (you can get a stamp at the floating islands.) Good walking shoes. (At the hotel there is a storage room so you don’t have to bring all with you during the tour) For during the night: Warm clothes (their homes are very poor), flashlight, sandals, towel. For in the night bus: warm clothes, passport, earplugs, water, snacks, mask.

Day 1 :

Cusco – Puno

06:30 Pickup from your stay by taxi for transfer to the buss. Leave at 07:00 Cusco in tourist bus to Puno including English-speaking guide, entrances (not included 50 Soles pp) and lunch buffet (included.) During the ride to Puno you will stop at 5 spots. Around 17:00 you will arrive in Puno. The hostal will pick you up. Overnight in hostal Totorani, twin bedded room including private bathroom and breakfast.

Day 2 :

2 day guided tour on the Titicaca Lake

Pickup at 7 am and sail to the unique floating islands of Uros. Here you will see people living on man-made islands by wood. After Uros, you will go to the Amantani island: 10:30am – 13:30pm Cruise the highest navigable lake in the world to the remote Island of Amantani. 13:30pm – 14:00pm Arrival to Amantani, where you will meet your host family as well as check in to family homestay. 14:00pm – 15:00pm Typical lunch in family’s house made from natural products. 15:00pm – 16:00pm Intercultural activities with the local family. 16:00pm – 19:00pm Optional – 1 hour hike up to Pachatata temple to watch the sunset. 19:00pm – 20:00pm Typical local dinner in family’s house. 20:00pm Option to take part in local dance and music or relax and rest in family’s house. Day 3 :

2 day guided tour on the Titicaca Lake

07:00am – 08:00am typical breakfast at the family house. 08:00am – 09:00am Boat transfer to Taquile Island. 09:00am – 09:45am Arrival to Taquile. 45 minutes hike up to Plaza de Armas. See how people created their way of living on this island. 09:45am – 11:45am learn the traditional history, lifestyle and cultures of the island community. From there, you have the opportunity to have lunch (not included.) 12:30pm – 13:30pm 45-minute walk back to the dock – beautiful views alongside 13:30pm – 15:30pm Return boat ride to Puno. 15:30pm Arrive into Puno. Transfer back to Hotel Totorani. Free time Overnight in Hostal Totorani, twin bedded room including private bathroom and breakfast.

Day 4 :

Puno

14:00 Pickup from the hostel for a guided tour to the Sullistani towers. 21:00 Taxi to the bus station (not included) 22:00 Overnight bus to Cusco
